If I didn't already trust Kim Rushing, and the judgment of Anne Ryan who
is working with Kim, on the NJ Xmas Rescue, hearing the following from BIG
would have been enough for me:

There's no sense in keeping a dispute going when the allegations have been
withdrawn, especially when there are no posts questioning Kim from people
who have visited her shelter and most of the posts supporting Kim are from
people who have seen the way she cares for her ferrets.  What most of us
who only read the FML are seeing is praise upon praise for Kim as a person
and as a shelter operator.
 
The arguments and accusations behind the scenes have pushed Kim to the
point where she has said she will not accept any more from S.O.S. than the
little help she has received so far for her ADV tests.  I am sure that I
speak for Georgia, Ela, and the many generous people who have sent money
to Support Our Shelters to help the NJ ferrets.  We cannot allow rumors
and sniping to interfere with the fair and much needed support for these
animals.  Kim deserves as complete a reimbursement for her expenses as
the donations will cover, and it looks like the donations should cover
everything.  In other words, I refuse to accept Kim's refusal of further
financial aid.  And I wish this were the last post on this subject.
