Hi everyone,

I would like everyone (those so inclined) to say a prayer for Taz's mommy
today. She lost her sweet Taz after doing everything that she could. It
is her place to tell you details about Taz, but I wanted to acknowledge
this special lady for something that she did recently for my little Fang:

I have been on a learning mission recently, in search of info on essiac.
She is one of only two who responded to my search, and respond she did! I
had spoken with Steve of the Rainbow Bridge, and he gently told me that he
didn't think it would help at this point, with Fang's tumor being so large
wrapped around his little liver. He had run out of the essiac in the size
I wanted, and said that he couldn't ship any immediately because of that,
AND the holiday causing delays..he was very kind, but really couldn't help
with the immediacy that I needed.

Enter Jackie, Taz's mommy (aka fuzzymum) to the rescue! She read my e mail
to her that stated my final acceptance of Fang's situation, without a lot
of hope, and with resignated sadness. But oh no! She would have none of
it! Off she ran to the post office on her lunch hour, after deciding to
share one half of her own essiac with me, just in case it would give Fang
a lift. It was Thursday, and she knew that once the New Year three day
weekend hit, Fang wouldn't get it in time.....She not only rushed to the
post office, but mailed it overnight mail, telling me not to worry about
the cost; that it was Fang's Christmas present. We live many states aways
from each other, and this was not cheap.

We have heard over and over that true joy comes from giving, not
getting....let me tell you that she made my heart swell; that I had been
the recipient of such valor! Again, another wonderful soul on this list
who would go out of her way for a stranger. She was running around for
little Fang, all the while having a sick one of her own; a little one at
home that was getting ready to go to the Bridge,... a sweet fuzzy named
Taz who just three days later decided it was her time.

Please give Jackie a moment of your silence, in respect for the loss of
her Taz, and for the wonderful compassionate person that she is. Oh,
these fuzzies; they really do teach us about unconditional love...

wishing this for us all,
lizzi and little Fang
