My new ferret, Eris, is a mitted/bibbed sable with red eyes.  I thought it
was weird as hell when I got her.
 
(For those not on the FOB list -- Dervish has a sister!  A girl in my
apartment complex needed to get rid of her ferret, so I volunteered to
adopt.  My boyfriend named her Eris after the goddess of Discord -- she's
a major troublemaker!  Dervish is absolutely thrilled; they play together,
eat together, snuggle together, and are probably plotting together to take
over the world.)
 
And in reference to the "happy thoughts" post: my bathroom and closet doors
are high enough for the ferrets to slip under them.  I had a male friend
over for the first time a week or so ago, and he was using the bathroom
when I heard a shout.  Seems both the weasels had silently snuck in and
startled the hell out of him!
