I recently had two rescues here for a few weeks that are now in a new home.
I just found out when they went to vet for checkup they had ear mites. I
found info on ferret central about ear mites but it doesn't answer my
question, which is: Could my personal ferrets have contracted ear mites
from these two rescues by casual contact? I kept them separated, however
the rescues would occasionally get into the ferret room and come into
contact with my ferrets.

Teeth cleaning - any suggestions where I can buy a tooth scraper (on-line
or off)? I ordered the one from The Ferret Store, but the end of it is
kind of flat, not curved, and I find it hard to use.

Thanks,

Susan D.
