Ok like Ping and Pong are forever bonded.  One will not try a treat unless
the other does.  They sleep and play together, etc.  Rocky tried to bond to
Laddie but ... well they just didn't.  Rocky fell in love with my little
girl.  And because Rocky is the gentlest of all the ferts.... she loved him
back.  So they are kinda pals.
 
So... do ferrets bond by twos more often than other numbers?  Is Laddie off
and a loner because of his personality (he is a bit of a dominant fellow,
but Pong is the alpha of the group), is he a loner cuase he wants to be
alpha and isn't, or is it just that he has no "buddy"?
 
What's everyone's thoughts on this?
