Hi,

I wanted to update everyone on Jumper. She's the little female ferret at
the Ellijay Wildlife Rehab Sanctuary that Tanya G. and Heidi & James so
kindly donated funds which made surgery possible.

I had good news today, she is doing wonderful, recovering very well as her
enlarged vulva has already returned to normal size. She had little hair
loss but had a very enlarged vulva before surgery.

I took notes when Dr. Cipullo called so I hope I got this down right. She
had her surgery September 26, performed by Dr. Cindi Donovan of Appalachian
Animal Hospital in Ellijay, GA.

Dr. Donovan removed the left gland, the right was surrounded by fat but was
not affected. The pathology lab report showed that this was not a tumor
but a Nodular Hyperplasia. (Dr. Williams could you please comment on
this?)

Now I was told today another older little female is going to need Adrenal
surgery. I knew about her but wasn't sure if they would do surgery because
of her age.

So, I am going to offer the crocheted hammocks and afghans again to anyone
who will donate atleast $15.00 towards the surgery. All money will be used
for the ferrets as AAH has setup a special account just for them.

Please make checks payable to Appalachian Animal Hospital and send to
Kleentek Products Attn. Sharon B. PO Box 591, Morganton, GA 30560.
I will see that you get a receipt for you tax deductible donations.

Thank you,
Sharon B.
