My little Sadie has a tattoo on the first pad of her left foot. She is a
silver blaze but hears perfectly fine.  She comes to a whistle (something
we discovered on accident and have taken advantage of) and has taught her
brother to do the same.  She is also one of the sweetest, most lovable
ferrets I have ever been around but sure knows how to play and have fun
when she wants.  I discovered her extra tattoo the day I brought her home
and though that perhaps when she was getting her tattoos in her ear she
wiggled and squirmed to get away and got her hand in the way.
