Yes, I believe they're endangered.  My boyfriend has a ferret who was
supposed to be a silver mitt- looked silver when he was a baby.  Over the
years, Freddy has changed to cream/white colored, sometimes with *orange*
markings... Except for the orange, he seems to have turned into a
black-eyed white!  We don't have any idea what caused this- our best guess
is something in his diet... He's totally healthy, it's just the color
change that's weird.  Anyone know anything about this?
