The fall has turned to winter and the leaves have fallen to the ground to
be covered by glistening white snow. The sun is bright as it glistens off
the tears of a ferret Mom, as she now lays the body of her beloved Waltee
into the winter ground. The scent of candles fill the air.
Waltee has not left the house. He has changed his living place. Where
once he ran and played in the home of Lynn McIntosh, now he lives, loves,
and plays, no not in her memories, but he loves, lives and plays forever
in her heart of gold. For there he will be to forever help her ferret out
this hectic place we call civilization.
Waltee will be there to help her find the small joys, she left behind while
caring for him disregarding her own needs. Waltee will be there to show
her where those little ones are that she can never find when they hide.
But MOST of all, Waltee will be there to continue to bring love and life
into Lynn's heart, for that is truly what is at the end of her Rainbow,
her heart of Gold.
