As the long time readers of FML know, the story of Squiggils in North
Carolina was about the worst abuse story ever told. For those who are
not familiar with the scene, the less than one year old fert was in a 10
gallon fish tank all it's life, never let out, cage never cleaned, and was
abandoned in an apartment with the top duct taped down. Neighbors heard
screaming and it was the fert screaming in pain of urine burns, 120 degree
heat, thirst, and starvation.
A rescue team was called by a recommendation to the land lord by the SPCA,
the little guy was rescued. It couldn't walk having never been out of that
tank. I offered to take the animal, but the rescue team wanted to keep it
and God Bless them for the kindness.
We haven't heard a word about Squiggils in many many months. I am asking
for an update, please post here or e-mail me privately, my interest
continues.
Gordon, Byte-me, Nibble-ed, Kodo and Bud.
