I urge people to please ignore the animal rights loonies bashing Marshall
Farms.  These people are against ALL BREEDING OF ANY ANIMALS and Marshall
Famrs is just their target at the moment.  We ferret owners owe MF a
lot.  Improved temperament through selective breeding, their part in the
information added in the book 'Biology and Diseases of the Ferret', the 75+
years they have helped promote the ferret as a pet, their part in helping
make/keep ferrets legal in many places (though they failed in their fight
with the CA Fish & Game Dept.), the research that went into ferret diets,
the line of ferret toys and goodies they put out and more.
 
Don't let the extremists who cry 'puppy mill' in an attempt to incite
emotional responses from us by using a term invented by the same people
who have stated that they want to see the extinction of domestic animals
in one generation.  Stop and look at your MF ferret(s) and think for a
moment what it would be like without them.
 
These people would not know a 'puppy mill' if they fell head first into
one.
