What a horrifying story that is - but the documented evidence just won't
bear it out. Camp inmates were never transported by air - they were all
transported by ground methods - usually train, and in some instances,
truck. That is historical fact. A plane used to fly two little Norwegian
girls to a death camp would have been well documented and would have ended
up as one of the charges in the Nuremberg Trials -- significantly, no such
documentation exists and no such charge was filed. Another important fact
is that the order to destroy Auschwitz was handed down on 25 November 1944,
and the remains of the camp were liberated on 27 January 1945. More
importantly, Auschwitz and the Nazi practices in the camps has absolutely
nothing to do with Marshall Farms. Linking the Nazi death camp with
Marshall Farms may seem an effective way to blacken the reputation of the
ferret breeder, but what it really does is diminishes the atrocities
committed in the camps.

It is long past time to stop spreading half-truths, lies, and innuendo.
Of course Marshall Farms has received violations from regulatory agencies.
Every business has had that experience. But, taken out of context, many
violations can seem more significant than they really are. What sanctions
did the inspecting agency place on Marshall Farms for the alleged
violations? Were they closed down? Did they receive fines - on a daily,
weekly, or monthly basis until they had remedied the violations? The
sanctions given, or not given, are a better and more accurate indicator
of conditions at the MF facility. In sharing the terrible conditions, why
didn't you also share the sanctions against them?

It is not enough to claim that one is "just reporting" what has been found
on the web or repeated elsewhere. If one is going to share the facts, then
that is exactly what should be done. Share all the facts - report both the
alleged violations and the sanctions placed against MF as a result of those
violations. Telling half the truth means one is also telling half a lie.
And, telling a lie makes one a liar - folks just need to decide how much of
a liar they want others to see them as.
