In response to Bob Chruch's suggestion in regards to our shelter. We have
had to cut back on most of our services this last summer and fall due to
financial difficulties and a recent hospitalization. I adopted out almost
all of our ferrets that were adoptable during the summer when our income
was drastically reduced. I kept only the sick. After the deaths of three
of these ferrets, we are left with only two. A little girl with adreanal
and another with insulinoma. I still have my personal ferrets that
accompany me on any presentations we do. We have not shut our doors or
refused to take any new ferrets in and we will continue to accept all
ferrets that come to us. Although we have never turned down any donations,
I don't usually ask for any but considering our new financial status, we
would be very appreciative of donations made directly to our vets at
Good Shepard Animal Clinic, 2910 Sa Mateo NE, Albuquerque, NM or
Petroglyph Animal Hospital, 6633 Caminito Coors NW, Albuquerque, NM.
I fell this way you know exactly where your donations are going. Of
course e wouldn't turn down donations in any other form.
Thank you from all the gang (past, present and future) at
