Does anybody know the current status of the ferret bill in California?  I
checked the agenda of the Senate Appropriations Committee for August 21,
and AB854 was not one of the bills listed.  Does that mean they've
rescheduled the hearing for a different date, or did something bad happen
to the bill?  I haven't seen any updates on the CFL or FA web sites.  I'd
really appreciate hearing what the news is.
