Okay ... so I picked up the ONLY copy of Modern Ferret that my local pet
store has... inside I find myself ooing and aweing over these fuzzy little
long-haired monkeys!  (I should mention at this point that I HATE THE AD...
"every beautiful women deserves a beautiful ferret!"... UGH!  where do
they come up with this CRAP!!... Aren't all ferrets beautiful and arent
all women equally beautiful??.... okay nuff bout that)... I thought they
were adorable... and please dont flame me about this but... FOUR HUNDRED
DOLLARS... are they bred from solid gold eggs... sheesh!  I was wondering
if somebody on the list could educate me about these angora babies!  Some
of the questions I have are...
 
1. Are these a NATURAL occurance??
2. Are they available from breeders OTHER than this one advertized in
   Modern Ferret?
3. Do Ferrets like my beautiful babies with their short soft cuddly fur
   accept these angora ferrets as if they were just like them or is there
   additional problems associated with introducing an angora to a short
   hair?
4. The ad stated that angora's have better health records, is this true?
5. The ad also stated that Angora's are MUCH larger than short hairs, is
   this true?  do they mean whole angora's or ALL angora's?  And HOW MUCH
   bigger are they (if that statement is true)?
6. Is this $400 dollar price they advertise a typical price for angoras
   and why are they so much more expensive short hairs?
 
I guess that's it...
 
PS... I am so sorry about the little lost girl in State College... Please
tell your friend that I hope her baby comes home soon!  I dont even want
to think about what I would do if one of my babies got away... ACK!  How
scary!

Pugsley:  I wanna ride on your feet momma please just get up and walk!
WALK I say!  Move those feet or I'll.... *chomp*
Dharma:  Rasins... I smell em!  Gimmie the ... rasins... *jump*... and
me... owner of the feet, guardian of the treats... humyn momma to my
babies!
