Dear Kelly--

This is valuable information, but it isn't new info. I use the
Pepcid/Pepto and add tylan to the mix also. We have used it on 3 rounds
of ECE in the last 4 years.

Tylan's off label use is the treament of diarreah in cats, dogs and
ferrets. It is a low level antibiotice and appetite stimulant. It isn't
a subtitute for vet care, or prescription meds. It has made the survival
rate on ECE in our home almost 100% and has reduced the severity of the
ECE as it makes its rounds. I have 4 ferrets over the age of 5 yrs old
who didn't even have a problem from the ece.
