FYI part 2:
Just got the newest copy of "Science News" in my hot little hand (and yes,
the critters are all helping me read it!). I notice that there is a new
book on the market titled "Tinkering with Eden: A Natural History of
Exotics in America. Author is Kim Todd. Published by Norton, 2001,
hardcover only at this point. Lists for $27.95, but any of the mega
stores should have it at a reduced rate. I haven't picked it up yet, but
I would suspect that our fuzzy friends appear somewhere in the missive.
Has anyone out there read it yet? We need a review of it here!
