Things ferrety to be thankful for
 
I'm thankful for Mysti, for her greetings every morning as I come through
the door.  For her big tail as she waits for her milkshake.
 
Sir Trouble: for his big wet kisses as he sits on my shoulder during quiet
evenings.  For his patience as the girls jump on him in play.
 
Lady Missy Fitt: for her crazy dances and rolls as she gets excited.  For
her gaze as she listens as you speak to her.
 
Princess PeeWee: and her devotion to me, how she's always the last one to
go for naps how she drags her tube of Ferretvite to me for a treat.  How
she launches her self in my hand to be picked up.
 
Morzilla / Moepretty: for her pretty face peeking out her towel to play
"tunnel mole" how she jumps with glee as she gets towel rides.
 
Alice, the Queen: I'm thankful for her greetings as she waits to be the
last out of her cage so she can preen my beard and nose.  And her prancing
as she plays, she never walks, she prances.
 
Thank you Dweezle, my big clumsy boy, for his endless play.  For his big
*sighs* as he climbs up in my lap after playtime for a short nap.
 
And of course little Blossom.  Who has shown such courage and ferrettude.
After the loss of one of her back legs, she has never stopped.  She has
been adopted by Mysti, the loner, and keeps us all laughing with her
energy and play.
 
I'm thankful for my kids, for their cold wet noses, for the thick soft
fur, their individual smells, the expressions on their faces, yes, I still
believe they "purr" when stroked..lol
 
Sure, I miss my buddy Bandit, with his attitude, and his loving brother
Ricky, the Prince of snuggles, But I believe they are still here, just out
of the corner of my eye.  I'm thankful they are together, and in no pain.
I'm thankful I had even a little time to know and care for them.
 
I'm very rich as I count my furry blessings today very rich indeed.  I'm
thankful.
