'lo folks!
Was just readin' Georgia Wood's post regarding power cords and had a
thought. In the home decorating area of almost any discount store,
(K-Mart, Walmart, etc.) you can find long plastic rolls intended to recover
shower bars and such. These are generally five or more feet long, very
pliable, but hard plastic, with a slit down the length. They easily cut to
any length. They would accomidate a number of cords at once, and would be
easy to use. And best of all, they run about $1.00 each, (some as low as
$0.79) and come in a variety of colors to match your decor. They are made
to unroll far enough to fit around an already existing tension bar, so they
open up/unroll almost all the way, but not so easily a ferret nose could do
it. I'm sure this would work well. Unfortunaly, or perhaps fortunately,
in my current residence I don't have any need to try it out. But maybe
someone out there will use the idea and let me know, eh?
The index page for Lost Ferrets is still broken. *sigh* Oh well. As I
said in my post a few days ago, the site can be navigated from every other
page. No new lost or found ads. There are still four more days to enter
the treasure hunt. When that has finished, I will be preparing for my
one-day only Halloween contest. Trick or Treat!
