Amelia is what the Killians have referred to as a wannabe panda blaze mutt,
although as she gets older the smudgey stripe on her head and neck is
becoming more distinct, so I could probably call her a badger or a blaze
now. At any rate, I think she fits the description of what you're asking
about. Today (Oct. 15) is actually her birthday (approximate, of course),
and she is six. Last December she had to have an adrenalectomy, but she
bounced back from it like a superball. Knock on wood, she's otherwise
been the picture of ferrety health. She's Canadian, from Hagen. I have
heard a rumor that Hagen's stock were originally fur ferrets and have
some polecat/fitch ancestry, and if that's true,I wonder if that has any
positive influence on their ferrets' health. Anyway, hope this is
encouraging to some panda/blaze owners out there!
