Hello again-
Tonight we finally figured out who has diahreaha, since we had a friend
loan us another cage to seperate the new one from the original ferret. It
is our little guy that is recovering from malnutrition. He dehydrated and
very tired. We did feed him some pedialyte and a little bit of pepto
bismal, but he HATED the pepto. Don't blame him really. I dont' like it
either. I also bought some homeopathic pills for diaharea and added them
(one) to the pedialyte. They don't interact with anything else. Now it
is wait and see. I will feed him more pedialyte over the course of the
evening and call the vet in the morning. Any suggestions?
He is still eating and drinking some, but the very watery diaharea will
take its toll on him soon, if we dont' stop it immediately. I am on the
West Coast and it is great that some of you can read this and answer before
I even turn on my computer in the morning. The more I know before I call
the vet, the better.
Thanks,
Cyndy
