Hi Everyone,

I haven't posted in a long time, but still enjoy and learn much from this
list.

I won't go into a lot of detail, but anyone with questions can email me.
I will answer to the best of my ability. Banjo had exploratory surgury
yesterday and the outlook is very dim to say the least. So I am looking
for anyone with information or experiences with hemorgic pancreitis.
That is close to what the vet said anyway.

He has sent a sample of the pancreas in for a biopsy, and I am waiting on
the results. I won't let him suffer, but up until surgury, he didn't seem
to be in a lot of pain. Just that I knew that he was not himself, plus a
diarrhea that couldn't be cleared up inspite of several weeks of different
treatments. He has been under a vets care for around 3 months. The
surgury was a last resort to try to find the problem.

It appears that the pancreas is eating itself, and working on eating some
other organs also. The abdomen was filled with fluid and blood, and he is
still seeping some of it.

I honestly don't remember reading anything on this, but if I have missed
something somewhere, please point me in the right direction. Any info
would be appreciated. Thanks for reading this post.

Hugs, Millie and her more the merrier crew of 11
