Sounds like you are doing a great job with your little baby... The food you
are using used to be a good one, I have heard that it has changed where the
proteins and fats are coming from, which could be bad. I would suggest
that you look into getting some totally ferret ferret food. If you can't
find it locally, it is on several sites on the internet.
It does cost more than other foods but in my case it is worth it, and
really does balance out. They get more nutrition from it and therefore
eat less, they poop less and it doesn't stink as much. Stay away from
proteins from fish it really makes stinky poops...
I am glad that you are so happy with your baby. They are really great.
Just wonder how long one will be enough! That ferret math happens believe
me. When I got Spaz I wasn't planning on getting anymore, that was 14
ferrets ago, and I still have 13. Which is way too many, but I can't help
myself.
