For anyone who has thought about skipping CDV vacinations because of
previous reactions, or from fear of a first time reaction, here's something
that might put it in perspective.  The reaction possibility exists, and
once a year you have to deal with it, but in skipping the vacination
entirely - every day of your life you need to worry that THIS might be the
day you bring canine distemper into your house.  You could walk through
parking strip grass and carry it in on your shoes.  Or open a door and
have it waft in.
 
Just my thinking on the subject...
