I have a female ferret.  She is about 8 months old.  When I bought
her they told me she had been spay, but I know other people who have
bought ferrets from the same place and their ferrets were suppose to be
altered but they were not.  I have heard that if a ferret goes into
heat and does not mate then she will die.  This has realy scared me
and I was wondering if someone could please tell me if there are
any signs that would tell me if my baby was in heat.
