THe Ferret 2000 for Virginia was held Sunday at the State Fair at
Strawberry Hill in Richmond Virginia. A good turnout of show ferrets
were had as well as the shelters of the Virginia area.

Was great to meet these people we have been talking to here in the FML for
the first time face to face. Was like meeting old friends.

All kinds of prizes were awarded for all kinds of ferrets in all kinds of
categories. A good time was had by all. Allot of public interest was
had, and a great deal of public information was given out. A good public
education session to say the least.

Was great, and I personally thank the Richmond Ferret Rescue, Jim and
Marlene Blackburn, for all the hard work they put into this affair. I
hope next year it is not only had again, but they enjoy an even greater
success!

Gordon, Byte-me, Nibble-ed, Kodo, and Podo.

Oh, Podo is still with me, he is weak, but trying hard to be a ferret.
As long as he does this, he will be here safe and sound.
