I e-mailed Nature's Recipe a couple of weeks ago when I noticed the new
batch was darker than the old.  They wrote back within two hours (I was
much impressed each time I contacted them with questions) to let me know it
was a change in suppliers.  Why the change in color?  It was suggested by
someone on the FML that maybe it now has more chicken parts.  Maybe.  Why
not?  My kids still love it.  Mr. Wylie, my blind "I won't eat anything but
Nature's Recipe" 5 year old has not stopped eating.  That is a good sign
that it is not too different.
