I do appreciate the kindness and compassion with which others offered
ferrets. Unfortunately my loving husband says five is enough with both
of us being disabled. I have fibromyalgia and was just diagnosed with
thyroid trouble. DH has hip trouble and is due for hip replacement and
was diagnosed with diabetes.

On a brighter side, Shelby, the young (only one ever purchased) squirt got
out of his cage somehow and came into my bedroom and hopped up on the stool
and giggled at me (it wasnt a dook) and he kept giggling all the time Mommy
was trying to catch him under the bed and thru the closet and then he gave
up, still giggling.

Today I was sitting at my computer surfing the net and a streak of brown
fur shot past me--told dh that someone had got out of the kitchen--he
played around and then curled up under me and my bathrobe and decided to
let Mommy pick him up.

Those guys are such a joy and so funny. I just cant see how anyone could
harm them and neglect them. Mine are just plain spoiled
