Simple.
 
Because many people on this list read/subscribe to their magazine, and this
is one of the quickest and easiest ways for them to explain why issues are
printing late.  Remember, they are a two person magazine publishing team.
When he has such serious health problems, it affects their publishing dates
and many people on the FML care about that.
 
Your response was simply uncalled for.  Dee, you showed compassion for
Daniel in his post about Felix.  Why could you not show the same to someone
who has given up full-time paying jobs to create a publication for the
education and enjoyment of other ferret owners?  I don't recall the same
kind of comment made when posts were made about FerretGuy or Bob Church and
their health problems.  Maybe you just don't like the magazine, but the
post was pertinent to people on the list or BIG wouldn't have let it
through.
