Noticed a few people posting about their ferrets dreaming lately, so I
thought I'd chime in.
I often notice Sammy dreaming; legs twitching, sometimes making little
squeaks and squawks. I wish I could see what's going on in his little
head.
One time Sammy was sleeping belly-up in his bed, his legs in the air. He
was obviously dreaming, as his legs were moving as if he were walking :).
I started speaking to him soothingly and petting him, and pretty soon his
tongue started to move like he was licking something (while still asleep
and belly-up). I wonder if he was dreaming of licking my face, as he does
when I pet and snuggle him when he's awake.
He's so adorable. :)
