Just a few questions for everyone. First, it's getting time for me to
order more food for our ferrets and I'm wondering what I should order.
They have been eating a mix of roughly half Iams Kitten and half Totally
Ferret. Now that the Ferret Store has it's own brand of food I'm curious
about it. What does everyone think of it in comparison to Totally Ferret?
It sounds like it's a good food but I wanted to get some opinions on it
before ordering.

For those of you that mix two or more types of food together how do you do
it? Do you just dumb the bags into one container and stir it around? Do
you measure equal amounts of each one and then mix together?

Last question. We "adopted" Bear from someone a few months ago. When we
first got her she threw up every couple of days. We thought it was stress
from a new environment, having a new ferret to live with, and new food. It
seemed to settle down so we didn't worry about it. Especially since she
was given a clean bill of health at the vet's office about a week later.
Then she started throwing up again every once in a while. We thought it
might be from hair since my husband had a cat who he said did the same
thing. So we started giving her hairball medicine on a more regular basis.
That seemed to stop the problem. Last night she started throwing up
again. She is perfectly fine in every other aspect. Plenty of energy, no
lethargy, healthy appetite and normal stools. When she does throw up, it's
almost the same every time. It's the same color, consistency, and amount
every time. It seems like it must be happening shortly after she eats
since it seems to be kibble that's coming up. Is it a blockage? A
disease? Or is my little girl bulimic and doesn't want to gain weight?

Have you hugged a fuzzy today?
