Hi everybody, so many of you say how "bad" it is for pet stores to carry
ferrets and for the pet stores that do not care for there pet's correctly I
agree BUT here in Maine I don't know of any breeders and if it wasn't for
the pet store I wouldn't have any of my 3 fuzzbutt's. The Pet store we
use is very good to there pet's they are well cared for and handled and
feed and watered well. We were able to get 2 of our ferrets there the
middle ferret came form the other local store (yes there are only 2 in
this area) only because my usual store wouldn't be getting any ferrets in
for a undetermined amount of time and we wanted our First to have a
playmate ASAP. I just wanted to add my 2 cents worth, that if it wasn't
for petstores here carrying ferrets I wouldn't have mine and many other
ferret lovers in this state wouldn't have any. There are a few rescues
here but at the time we were ready for our addition to our family none of
the rescues that I could contact had any, (which is good!) IM trying to
cover all aspects here so I don't get flamed.

Thank for listening to my 2 cents....maybe 1 cent LOL
