I am heading to Knoxville, TN from Atlanta, GA and back this weekend and
from Atlanta to Nashville and back the following weekend if any one out
there needs transportation of furries. I know it isn't far, but it's
free. :)
I haven't posted in a while, but here's a quick update on my crew. Eddie
had a bump on the end of his tail removed about three months ago. He is
still growing the shaved hair back and it still looks funny. Bailey had
two tumors removed from her side and back leg. We now suspect she has
adrenal as her vulva is enlarged and has been for at least a month.
She's four, so I doubt it is any leftover female parts causing it. Little
Bit had a successful adrenalectomy. It turned out not to be cancerous,
just over-active, but I was told that it would have needed to come out
eventually anyway and it is better now than later. Stinky passed the piece
of rug gripper that he had eaten, so at least we were spared ONE surgery.
And Oscar, he's the same fat, happy, drag you under the bed furry he's
always been.
I don't mean it to sound like all my guys were suddenly sick. I think
my vet here is just better than the one I used to have when it comes to
furries. My old vet said not to worry about Bailey's bald side, and it
turned out to be a tumor. She also was going to let Eddie's tail keep
its bumpy end. I guess I could have pushed for that one, but I didn't
think to question her on Bailey. So, once we get her likely adrenal out
of the way, we should have caught up on two years worth of surgeries.
Hopefully, we will be done then because I'm broke! :) I'm currently saving
for Bailey's surgery. I kind of wish we had waited a month from her last
one, so we could have done all three in one surgery.
Let me know if I can currier anyone.
