Hi folks:
A few weeks back I noticed on my ferret Phoebe a raw spot on her neck,
right behind her left ear. I assumed that she had banged herself against
something, so put some hydrogen peroxide on the spot. The next day the
spot was scabbed over and a few days later the scab was gone and it
appeared the spot was healing. Today, however, I noticed the raw spot
was back, bigger than before and seemingly more inflammed.
I haven't noticed her scratching the spot. I also note that this problem
arose just about the same time she developed a case of rat tail.
Any thoughts on what this might be? Suggestions about what I can do
about it?
Yours in ferretphilia,
Kelly A.

unremembered. Hell goes round and round."
