Hi all!

Well, nothing has really changed. Zinc is still behaving strangely --
going to bed early in her cage, spending much of her time in the flat
ferret position, going to the bathroom wherever it suits her. She's just
not herself. I'm beginning to wonder if anybody's happy. Riki and Pix
seem relatively unaffected, but I wonder if they're really happy or just
tolerating the situation. The strange thing is that they all sleep
together. It seems like they're all friends, but Zinc behaving so
passively has me very concerned and my husband on edge. He's ready to
give up and give Riki back to the shelter. But I worry about how that
may affect her (changing homes so many times in her short life). I know
Scott absolutely will not tolerate 2 separate playtimes. He let me know
that up front before bringing Riki home. He's on edge, I'm on edge, and
Zinc...well, I'm assuming she's very depressed. We want to work this out
to make all the ferrets happy ferrets. Please help! I've checked the
archives but I must be entering the wrong key words because I can't find
much information. I've already tried giving them a bath to make them
smell similar, but that did nothing. Does anyone have suggestions?
