It saddened me to hear that this person, Deb, lost 3 of her ferrets all at
the same time.  My sympathy goes out to her.
 
There are a couple of points I wish to make regarding the information given
in the post.
 
1. Most toxicologists would agree that 10 days to two weeks out from
dosing with "Revolution" for signs to appear is too long of a period.  It
even states on the packaging that a kitten did lose it's life 8 hours after
using the product.  It was also stated that the kitten was in poor health
and I believe they do put a disclaimer to that effect on the package (do
not use on debilitated or sick animals).  Could the deaths have been caused
from something else?
 
2. Will this person share the toxicology reports with everyone or at least
post the cause of death?
 
3. We have several ferret owners in our area that have used this product
with no adverse reaction.  Our shelter vet wll be using this product on her
4 ferrets and another member vet has used it on her 2 ferrets with no ill
effects.  If any problems arise, we will post.
 
Be cautious when using any "off label" product on ferrets.
