We have one little sweetheart, brought home from the shelter a little over
two years ago, who used to whimper and cry a LOT in his sleep when we first
got him, but now he only does so occasionally.  We figured he was having
nightmares--heaven only knows what sort of life he had before he came to
the shelter!  and we would talk to him lovingly and maybe rub his little
head.
 
this little fellow is the most-loving ferret I have ever met--just this
morning, he was curled up under the cover and I stuck my nose down there
and he just kissed and kissed and kissed me all over my nose and my face.
I think he is still so amazed that he is in a Real Home where he is loved.
