Several Hints to the person that has a ferret with Skin allergies

1. Use hypoallergenic washing powder (i use arm & hammer for both fuzzies
and family)Also, add 1 cup of vinegar to the rinse cycle (good for human
clothes also)

2. Watch the use of any of the "smell goods" for carpets, not all of the
powder will vacum up

3. Do not use Fabreeze; Have seen quite a few fuzzies and birds, cats etc
that have allergic reaction, it has killed a few birds (I found that the
Chlorox brand seems to work OK.

4. Have you changed to a different brand of litter....I am using the
yesterday's news litter for my fuzzies, some of the "other" litters
non-clumping often have perfumes added

Don't know if any of this will help.
