Well, everyone, I have some sad news to share.  Today, Ollie, Maggie's
first ferret, went to the Rainbow Bridge.  The necropsy hopefully will tell
her what happened, but right now it looks like severe insulinoma and a
stroke or tumor.  The med test will tell.  Ollie had been afflicted with
this for the past several months.  It seemed to get worse when his sight
totally departed.  Maggie has cared for him so carefully, but he just
didn't come out of it today despite all of Maggie and the vets best
efforts.
 
He has joined Miss Jezebel, Miss Tweety, and Mr. Owen, as well as Tiki,
the bald squeak toy poodle (my little sister......) at the Rainbow Bridge.
Sandee, give Ollie a big hug and tell him that his Mommy and Aunt Catherine
will miss him.  And, while you're at it, pet Tiki and tell her that Sissy
misses her so much...........
 
If Maggie doesn't answer her email for a few days, this is why.  I'm sure
everyone can understand.  Ollie was her baby and she loved him so.  Plus,
he was her first.  Lord, I don't want to think about facing that...........
