My Merlin will be a year old in September and I've noticed in the past
month or so he's really slimmed down.  Just so you know, we used to call
him Merlin Fat-butt, and now he has the fit and trim look about him, but I
don't know if maybe he's sick and therefore losing weight or ferrets just
naturally lose baby fat?  He eats and acts fine, but he also chews up quite
a bit of plastic when he gets at it, so I also was wondering if a partial
blockage could be the problem?  It's not like he's all bony, just much
thinner than before.
