Hey Everyone,

Nibblit had adrenal surgery and a lump removed. Turns out the lump isn't
lymphocarsinoma, its adenocarsinoma. Apparantly this is much worse,
however, my vet has not been able to find much on it and I don't ever
remember seeing it on any ferret site. We know its bad, its aggressive,
its malignant and three days after the surgery it had already grown back.
So far the only info we have is really the pits.

My vet was guessing he probably has 3-6 months, but this was really just a
"best guess in the dark". And with it already returning so aggressively,
we have some doubts about that time frame. We're looking into the Timmy
Tonic, Dr. K in Gainsville had mentioned it as a possibility when they
thought it was lymphocarsinoma. I need to find a source for it. I thought
The Ferret Store had it but couldn't locate it on their site.

If anyone has any experience or knowledge on this disease, I would
appreciate anything you can share. I don't usually get to the FML daily,
but will be faithfully checking it the next few days or you can write to
me directly at [log in to unmask]

Its always so sad to read about the lost little ones. And I've lost a
couple of shelter babies. I knew Nibblit's day was coming eventually.
When ever I lost one of the shelter kids, I'd be reminded that my four
youngsters were no longer spring chickens. But Nibs is our first baby.
He's the Ferret King. I really didn't expect his day to be coming up so
soon. Long live the King.
