Hello All,

Well, all of my ferrets are rather infamous for hating baths. They act
like I am drowning them, so I gave it up a long time ago in favor of
showers. They come in with me when I am showering and pay around at my
feet. I will even leave the shower on, cover the floor with giant towels
and let them play for half an hour or so. They love this!!

But help me, they run and hide even if I try to show them the bubble bath
in the tub, when I am soaking. They all run up and peer over the edge.
But if I try to show one the bubbles, well out of the water and held in
two hands, they act like I am torturing them.

So imagine my surprise the other day when I started running a bath. I had
not yet put any bubbles in it. But here comes the crew peering over the
edge to see the water run. And Mr. Pooh Bear looks over, and looks over,
and then starts to jump up on the edge. He balances good so I don't bother
him, figuring he will satisfy his curiosity and get down.

All of the sudden, in he goes!! And better still, he just stands there!!
Of course, there isn't but an inch or two of water in the tub but it is
filling fast. Brock had been in the dry tub earlier and knocked down all
my tubby stuff. This is just fine for Pooh who decides to swim over to
check out the pumice stone floating around. Trouble is, the water isn't
deep enough for him to actually swim.

So here is this rather big boy, paddling like mad with his front feet with
a grand swimmers stroke while he is walking with his hind. I couldn't help
but laugh. It was just too funny.

But then he decided he didn't like me laughing at him and got out of the
tub. I can't wait to see if he does it again.

hugs,

Mo' Maggie and her Mid Missouri Mob of Musty Monkeys
