A few quick questions.
Is Aleutians (sp?) airborne/transmitted on clothing? (Can it be passed on
to my ferrets if I came in contact with an infected ferret, then went home
and held mine?)
If you are bitten (skin broken) by a ferret that is up-to-date on all
shots, should you be worried about anything? I was bitten quite badly
tonight by Samson, who is going blind. He thought I was the squeaky toy.
I washed out the bite, and figure there is nothing to worry about, but
figured I would ask anyways.
Anyone have any experience with Rex brand wheat germ oil? I bought some
from the Ferret Store, and give it to my guys once a week, and have been
amazed with their coats. I have a few that are really wiry, with not so
soft fur. This stuff has given them beautiful coats.
Last thing. Has anyone ever used Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Pure-Castile
Soap on ferrets for bathing? I came across something somewhere which
recommended it, but want to know if it's safe/etc/etc.
Hope everyone is doing well, and has a great New Year!
