In answer to your question if anyone else had this problem answer is yes.
I'm in charge of the small animals at a pet superstore. Our last few
batches of ferrets have been 6 wks old with health certificate saying their
2 mos. old. One of the kits dehydrated because he didn't know how to use
the water bottle. The worst was last weeks kits that came in 5 1/2 wks old
with scabs on their spay incision, no hair yet where they were shaved. One
came in sick she was taken to a vet hospital with severe URI, part of one
lung colapsed, possible en-larged heart, and a ruptured ear drum. The poor
baby is doing so much better after a 5 day hospital vist. If she was older
when ship this might not have happened. My employer has complained to MF.
They ship older for a few months then back to young ones again.

Can anything be done about this!!!!
