Wow,
 
Where do I start?  The only thing that I wasn't happy with was the turn
out.  I think we had more people last year.
 
Havoc won 6th place in the alter class.  Dodger didn't win anything, I did
learn a lesson though, when showing ferrets in the future, I won't let
everyone play with them all day.  They were way too tired when they finally
made it to the judges.  They looked half dead, not their normal ferrety
selves.
 
I met some really great people.  Sarah Peterson, who introduced me to their
mascot.  What a great boy he is.
 
Chirs and Mary Mewton, they were as great as I thought they would be.  No
that isn't quite true.  They were even better than I thought.
 
Amy McNamara, you were exactly what I expected.  Dodger said to tell you
hi.
 
John Gordon, I finally got to meet John and Dee.  After 3 years, they only
live about 20 miles from me.  John had pics of a least weasel.  It was sooo
coool..... not to mention tiny.
 
I know I am leaving out all kinds of people, but I was in sensory overload.
 
Diane did a great job judging her first official show.  Bill and Lisa did
great also.
 
Kim Shilling - Thanks for signing the books for me.  Thanks even more for
the great conversation we had throughout the day.
 
Julie - forgot to have you show me how to clean the ferrets teeth.  Will
have to remember it next time.  How is Mikey doing?
 
Kat - Was really great seeing you again.  Thanks so much for the ferret
afghans..  They are really great.  Did you realize that we are ready for
Christmas now?  Sonny's is green and mine is red....
 
Judy - What can I say?  You are still you.  One of these days people will
realize that they don't need to shut you out of their lives just because
they don't know what to say about White Russian.  Folks Judy is human, just
tell her you feel for what she is going through and love her even more.
Then dig into your pockets and give some money to the collection that she
is doing for ADV research.
 
Now lets talk about Blizzard!!!!  She is the main reason that I went to the
Show.  Gayle and Larry thank you so much.  She is getting along with all
the girls.  She will meet all the boys tonight.
 
Blizzard, is one of the Flint 9 that Nanci Frazier rescued, I'm sure you
will remember the story from the FML about it.  Nanci was really ticked.
Well anyway Blizzard was the Albino Girl whose cage mate was dead and being
eaten by maggots.  When Sampson was put down a few months ago, Gayle said
she had a little girl that really needed me.  When I found out who the
little girl was and read her story, I couldn't say no... So Larry and Gayle
thank you again.  She is precious, and is getting quite a belly on her.
