The best nail trimming advice I can give.  Here goes:
 
Have some one sit in a chair holding your baby with a tube of ferritvite in
front of the baby.  While your baby is thoroughly enjoying their treat, you
then snip their nails.  They may squirm a little bit, but it is still very
doable.  I could never clip my girls nails w/out the help of their nana.
Thank God for Nana's who help!
