Our mommy is such a silly mommy.
 
She pulls out this big machine that she calls a "sewing machine".  She is
really careful with it and won't let us near it.  She says it might hurt
us.  She even pulls the chairs away from the table when she has it out.
She even thinks to put the "foot" on the table and unplug it when she walks
away.
 
Well, today, she pulled it out and was working away and wouldn't let us
play with it.  We were really mad and sulked and even nipped at her knees,
but she wouldn't give in.  (Sometimes, she will give in and put us on the
desk when we want to play up there).
 
She got a phone call and got tied up with our Aunt Sherri and forgot that
some of us were still lurking around. :-)  We snuck into the dining room
and were sniffing the only part we could get to.  The foot.  Orion walked
over to it and stepped on it.  When he did, the table went, "CHUNKA CHUNKA
CHUNKA".  He jumped off immediately!  It scared us all, so we had to jump
around and try to figure out who did that.
 
Orion said, "Did you do it?" bounce, bounce, bounce,
Sola went, "NO.  Did you do it Venus?" bounce, dook, bounce
I said, "NO.  Who did it?" bounce bounce bounce.
 
Well, I bounced too near the foot and landed on it.  Guess what happened?
We heard CHUNKA CHUNKA CHUNKA.  So we all started war dancing and
chittering.  Well, when we started chittering, mom heard us.  Heck, Sola
even hissed!
 
When mom walked in, Sola was trying to rub her fluffy tail down and just
then, Orion jumped on the foot to attack it.  When he did, it protested and
went CHUNKA CHUNKA CHUNKA again.  We all started war dancing again and
Sola's tail poofed out and she ran out past mom.  We just continued to
dance and dook.
 
Mom was laughing very hard at us.  She says it doesn't make that noise when
she uses it, because it doesn't vibrate with her hands on it.  All we know
is, something goes CHUNKA CHUNKA CHUNKA when we jump on the big black foot.
Orion even tried to attack a door stop because it looked very similar to
the foot.  You could really see our anticipation and disappoint in that
attack.  We waited for the noise, and was very upset when we didn't get it.
 
Oh well.  Keep a listen out FLO members!  If you hear it and figure out
where it comes from, let us know!  Alas, we can only tell Luna and Eros
about this.  They were off napping.
