well...it was a little more complicated that just adrenal... we already
knew her spleen was way enlarged...so expected that... was guessing on
adrenal, basically, since he had never seen a female ferret with adrenal
when her vulva was not swollen... so he went in for an "exploratory"...

here is what was done/found...if i got it all straight...:)
immediately he found a lump on her tonsil...while trying to get the tube
down her...biopsying that...

he removed the spleen...sending for tests...

he removed the left adrenal...right adrenal was fine...i believe...

removed one kidney...here is what it looked like...not for the faint of
heart...dark purple with white cheesy like stuff...yuck!!!...he is at a
loss for this...is sending off for tests...

biopsied the liver...forgot what he said about it though...i was a bit
snowed under by then...:)

she is coming out of the anethesia now...3 p.m. thurs...weak but ok
considering how long she had to be under...he did not expect this mess!!!

will keep you posted on the rest of it...the results of the tests...and
her recovery...

thank you all for caring and supporting me...i think it is all finally
hitting me...i think i was sort of in limbo till now...

HUGS!
kat
