<G> now that I have your attention !!!!

Our adopted son, has been in State Institutions since he was 12. He has
Severe Behavior Disorders. Originally he was in a state hospital in
Columbus, GA and is now in a residential facility in Atlanta. There are
20-30 children in this program at "The Bridge." This is an old Atlanta
school that is located in a very rough part of the projects area. He has
told his associates and caretakers about his 14 ferrets. I think it was to
the point that no one really believed him. We visit him every other week
for supper and "family theraphy." He could be coming home on week-ends
but, we never seem to keep the level long enough to, thou.

Well the theraphist got us "Special Permission", to bring some ferrets in
for "theraphy." Now, we had our backs to the wall, who do we take? The
first one off the list was Squeeky (JAWS), then Snowball and Ming
(hyperactive), and the list narrowed down quickly to Andrea (MF Sable) and
Gwenivere (MF Albino). It worked out that we would have them there at
their normal "run" time in the "ferret room." So off we go, with them in
a cage. While we ate dinner and had our session, they played on the big
conference table, acting like a lady and gerntleman. The theraphists did
finally pick them up as they demanded it. We then moved to a reception
area with couches and chairs and the teens that wanted to see the ferrets
were brought in, in small groups. They got to hold Andrea and Gwinivere
and pet them watch them run around the room and get ferret kisses. We
answered all their questions about ferrets and all had a good time. Our
guys did not even leave any of those famous ferret "presents".

We had an enjoyable visit, and again our guys came through.
