The Minneapolis MN city council is overhauling its animal ordinances for
the first time in about a decade.
One of the proposals will legalize ferrets in Minneapolis, with the
stipulation that they be vaccinated for rabies and are subject to a license
fee of $20. The public hearing date has yet to be set, but the proposal is
expected to go before the council in the next month.
